Abrimos esta edición con una sección transversal de noticias internacionales de actualidad, que tratan, entre otros temas, la adopción de la Directiva europea sobre el salario mínimo y la publicación de un informe sobre políticas en materia de salud mental en el trabajo.
El último documento publicado por la Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT) destaca el modo en que la legislación sobre transparencia salarial puede ayudar a reducir la brecha salarial de género. La igualdad de género también es objeto de análisis en el último informe de Randstad, que aborda la persistencia de la discriminación en el lugar de trabajo.
Esta edición informa del regreso de la negociación colectiva en Francia, después de una interrupción completa en 2020 debido a la pandemia.
Asimismo, abarca otros acontecimientos, como la introducción de la reforma laboral sueca; el proyecto de ley sobre cláusulas de no competencia en Nueva Zelanda; la puesta en marcha de la fase final de una gran reforma laboral en México, y la presentación, por parte del Gobierno de Perú, de su plan para impulsar el empleo y la economía en los próximos años.
Esta última edición también analiza la decisión del Tribunal de Justicia Europeo sobre el derecho a las vacaciones retribuidas y su prescripción, mientras que en Estados Unidos, la Junta Nacional de Relaciones Laborales afirmó que los empleadores no pueden impedir legítimamente que los empleados lleven atuendos o vestimenta sindical invocando como justificación la mera necesidad de llevar el uniforme de la empresa.
Concluimos con un análisis de la evaluación anual realizada por Paychex, una empresa de recursos humanos con sede en EE. UU., que recoge la puesta en marcha y los avances de las iniciativas existentes dentro del programa ESG de nueve pilares de la empresa. Además, describimos una iniciativa llevada a cabo por Apicil, que ha creado un nuevo módulo de aprendizaje electrónico para fomentar el conocimiento sobre la diversidad y la necesidad de que haya inclusión en el lugar de trabajo.
