Talking on the most pressing challenges at the B20 Summit, Mr. Erol Kiresepi, Honorary President of the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) and Co-Chair of the B20 Employment & Education Task Force, called for more effective public-partnerships, strengthened multilateralism and collective action to bring the world back to work.

B20 Chair, Ms. Emma Marcegaglia, commented that B20 work was guided by the firm conviction of a renewal of the global community towards multilateralism, as “Unity and pragmatism are needed. No ideology, but responsibility and partnership. If 2021 is to be remembered as the year of renaissance, then we need a much stronger cooperation among states”. “To the incoming Indonesia B20 Chair, my best wishes, encouragement, and support for her forthcoming mandate”, she concluded.
